Product Description:
The cheese is a creamy Cheshire-type cheese which is produced in truckles of 3.5 to 5.0 kg. Each truckle is wrapped by hand in a traditional cheese bandage before being allowed to mature for 3 to 5 months. The flavour is very lovely and fresh. At the British Cheese Awards in 2008, Hawkston was awarded a bronze medal.
